A.J. (Arthur James)

Just couldn't get him to be happy without that BOTTLE!!! Little booger is DADDY'S BOY, he just wanted his dad that night in the worse way. The candy made him happy for at least a little while. Can't believe how big he is getting!

TYLER & REBEKAH

They were so funny that night! Going to have to make this one really short. I've got a very fussy baby in my arms that wants to eat. Just want to make sure that I get all of them on here.

MATTHEW CHARLES HECKERT

OUR BRAVE KNIGHT

He Just would not put the helmet on!!!!! I was lucky enough to get the shirt on though. Isn't he CUTE!

RYAN MICHAEL HECKERT

THE HECKERT HULK
He just had to be "THE HULK" He had so much fun running around after people! Can you guess how many times I had to wash his hair and face that night??????
Lets just say that he was not a very happy boy by bed time!

John Thomas Heckert

Halloween 2008 @ Fort Hood, Texas

What a day full of fun! You can sure tell that a few of my kids were so tired of me taking pictures. I sure did have lots of fun doing it. Casey was not able to be here this year because he was at Fort Lee, Virginia doing ARMY STUFF!!!! The kids sure did miss him, he always makes them laugh. I can't believe how fast these little boogers are growing up. Hey, I am still in shock that I have SIX, YES I SAID 6 children. They are so wonderful and I love them. They give me my challenges but I learn so much PATIENCE!!!!!!! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Halloween. We love all of you and hope that you enjoy this blog that I have actually had for a long time but am just now being able to sit down and find out how it works. I am still experimenting with things on here. Enjoy!

My Sweet,Sweet Rebekah

Rebekah is so much fun! I love that I have at least one Daughter, and I could not ask for anything more. She is so thoughtful of those around her. She will give you a hug when you least expect it. Rebekah is such a wonderful sister to her brothers and knows how to defend herself! Being surrounded by boys has toughened her up but you would never know it! She loves to play with make-up and to do my hair. Casey truely loves is beautiful little girl, and has stated that he is never going to let her date anyone. He says that she will have to be at least 30yrs. old!LOL!...... We loveyou..... Rebekah Dianne Heckert

Can you tell who these boys belong to??????

Heckert Boys and Daddy
As you can tell it was a lot of fun trying to get an okay picture! Look at Tyler! LOL!!! He just would not smile like we wanted him to. He kept making that funny face. Poor little John was soooooo tired by the time we got to this one... it was the best that he would give us! Ryan, Matthew, and A.J. Did great.

Elder Heckert in Killeen Stake

It has been such a great opportunity for Elder Stephen Heckert to be here in our area! Casey has had the pleasure of going on splits with Elder Heckert and it was a very spiritual event. We also had the pleasure of having Elder Heckert over for Dinner two or three times now! It has been wonderful to see how Elder Heckert has shared his testimony of the Gospel with those around him. The kids have the hardest time remembering to call him Elder Heckert. When they see him at the church building the run up to him screaming....Uncle Stephen, Uncle Stephen...!He always has a smile and you can definately tell that he is very happy. We are hoping that he will still be here in the Killeen Stake for Thanksgiving!!!! His mission president has given him permission to come to our home for Thanksgiving dinner. He is such a wonderful example to us all that anyone can change the path that they follow. Our Heavenly Father loves us all. We Love you Elder Heckert!!!!

Casey and Sarah

Here we are just two weeks after our fifth son John Thomas came to our family! We have been so blessed with such a wonderful family. Casey is in Fort Lee, Virginia doing some schooling for his next phase in the Army! I am holding down the fort here in Texas, trying not to go crazy! I have such wonderful friends here. I am so thankful for them and want them to know that I appreciate them! Life is going well for us and I will try my best to keep posting regularly.

Yes, I know that this picture is from our old house for those of you who do recognize it! Matthew came running down the stairs with his horse the other day and my camera was dead. But I knew that I had an old pic so I thought that I would share it. I just couldn't stop laughing when Matthew came galluping throughout the house with his horse and cowboy hat. WHAT A TRUE TEXAN!....LOL!! He must have ran around the house a thousand times with that horse. It was sooooooo fun to watch him. I sure do wish that I had half the energy he has! He is beginning to become his own person. He really thinks that he rules the house while the older kids are away at school. He loves to boss A.J. around, and even tries to boss me around!......You all know that that will never happen thought. I am the one and only boss in this family! You know that Casey might rule the roost, but I rule the Rooster!!!!!

The Heckert Kids

*It is a huge challenge to try and get all six of our little rugrats to sit for a snapshot!

This one is one of our best. School has started and I have the three oldest in school......Hip...Hip...Hurray!!!! I am enjoying the time that I get to spend with my three youngest children. Matthew loves to rule the house, A.J. is not far behind him though! He will actually wrestle Matthew down to the floor. It is soooo funny....LOL! John- sleeps most of the time but I enjoy the time that he is awake. It is usually the time that the other two are taking a nap. So I get that alone time with him!!!! He is so much fun. I hope to have more pics done when John turns 6 months old. He is growing so fast, he is now 13lbs. and is very alert!

One more little one to chase after!......

Who would have thought that I would have six little rugrats!! I have been blessed with five boys and one sweet girl. Our newest addition if John Thomas Heckert. He is so sweet and loves to cuddle. He is now 2 months old and is coooing and smiling all the time. He loves his brothers and sister. They love to help mommy and hold him a lot as I am very busy trying to clean, cook, and am trying to keep everyone happy. It has been a huge adjustment this time. I thought that it was going to be a little easier since this is my sixth child......LOL! YA RIGHT!!!! I might have to have surgery to give me ten extra arms!!!! No, really, I am actually beginning to get the hang of this now. It can only get better now, I hope! Here he is though! Isn't he a cutie!!!
